Dear Colleagues,
 

It gives us immense pleasure to host the International Biomedical Engineering Conference 2014 in Gwangju, Korea on November 20 - 22, 2014. On behalf of the IBEC 2014 Organizing Committee, we extend a warm and cordial invitation to you.

The IBEC 2014 is the first annual international meeting of biomedical engineering jointly organized by the Korean Society of Medical and Biological Engineering and Korean Society of Biomechanics. This year, it will be held in conjunction with the U-Healthcare 2014.

 
Under the theme of "Frontiers in Translational Biomedical Engineering Research," a wide range of scientific programs will be organized, and also there will be a session on the Korean government policy of convergence technology. Under this year's theme, we hope that the gap between basic and clinical research, among countries, and various biomedical fields will be bridged through the IBEC 2014.

We are certain that this conference will be a highly rewarding educational and networking experience for all. We cordially invite you to take this opportunity to explore the field of biomedical engineering and also unique Korean culture.
