On behalf of the KBMES Board and Korea-US Joint BME Workshop Committee, we would like to invite you to attend the 6th Korea-US Joint Biomedical Engineering Workshop. 

The KBMES Workshop will be held on Thursday, October 18th, 2018, 2:30-5:30 PM, with the full support of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) as a part of its 2018 Annual Meeting, in Georgia World Congress Center, Room A411, Atlanta, Georgia.

The early registration for the 2018 BMES Annual Meeting is due by September 5.

We will have a total of 8 invited speakers (including two Plenary Speakers, Prof. Ashutoshi Chilkoti from Duke University and Prof. Shuichi Takayama from Georgia Tech) from the U.S. and Korea, spanning the two sessions, followed by a dinner reception ("Korean Night") for all participants. The goal of the Korea-US Joint Biomedical Engineering Workshop is to foster international cooperation, and professional networking among biomedical engineers in the U.S. and Korea and to enable junior scientists to fully develop their career potential. The BMES Program Committee has been fully supportive of the workshop and has already allocated a symposium space and resources for this event.
