The sessions will take place in Korea Standard Time (KST, UTC+9).

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

Abstract Submission

Abstract (1 page) should be submitted (Download the template). Each abstract will be reviewed and evaluated for acceptance by the Scientific Program Committee.


Virtual Presentation

All presenters will be required to either submit a pre-recorded video of their presentation or give a live talk at the Zoom session. It is expected that speakers will be available for a live Q&A directly following their presentation. Time for invited talk is 25 minutes and for accepted oral presentation 12 minutes.


Student Paper Competition

Abstracts submitted by students for the Student Award Session will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee. Awards to selected student presenters will be given.


Publication of Proceedings

Selected authors of papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit 4-page papers for publication in the ICBHI 2021 proceedings of the IFMBE Proceedings Series and the special issue of the IFMBE sponsored SCIE journal. The IFMBE Proceedings series is an official publication of the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (http://www.springer.com/series/7403) and indexed by SCOPUS, EI Compendex, Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST), and SCImago.
1. Language and template: : English is the official language for all submitted papers. Submissions should contain original work, not published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. The final paper should follow the IFMBE proceedings format. (Download the template)
2. Compliance with ethical requirements: All authors must comply with Springer’s ethical policies and include statements in their manuscripts declaring whether there are any conflicts of interest in their paper.
3. Final submission and copyright form: After the paper is accepted, the following files should be sent to the conference secretariat icbhi2021@gmail.com.

  • Copyright form (filled and signed): in conformance with Springer format 
  • Source files: final manuscript file in MS Word docx and PDF file format, figures in individual TIFF files of 300 dpi and above.
